Math Center using Numbers 0-30 Activities in Ten-Frames, Tally Marks, and Words

Do you need an activity for small or whole group? Than this is the activity for you.

I love using this activity in my classroom.  It gives students the opportunity to engage with numbers in worksheets and hands on activities.  I created this activity to put into my centers.  When students are done with the math assignment for the day, I will send them into math centers.  During this time, I will help students that need my one on one attention for the math assignment that day or help students that are struggling with different concepts of math.  Having math centers available gives students the opportunity to review what you have already taught them.

Make sure that you teach your students how to complete each activity before placing them into centers.  The worksheets that come with this activity can be laminated and placed in each center.  Students will use a Vis-a-Vis marker on the laminated worksheet.  When they are done with the worksheet then you can clean it off with a wet paper towel.  This makes it easier for students to be able to do it again without having to waste lots of paper.

In this activity you will find:

Number display for the wall (that has the number, number word, ten-frame, and tally mark)

Number Cards

The different number cards are:
-ten-frame numbers 0-30 cards
-tally marks 0-30 cards
-numbers 0-30 cards
-number words 0-30 cards

With the number cards, you can have students match numbers, count out counters, play games with the cards.
