I use my calendar journal every day with my students. The calendar journal is a great way to get students engaged with calendar time. I print off enough journals each month and place them into a binder. Students find an empty journal page and fill it out while we go through the calendar. Having students fill out the journal gives students the opportunity to participate and give them a purpose to practice their handwriting.
